Word People Describe You
The word I hope people describe me as is dedicated. During the course of this year I have given significant time and effort into helping out my high school's effort to win a soccer championship. Both girls and boys varsity soccer I have worked with the goalies on multiple occasions, I was at nearly every home game setting up the field, and recently during the playoffs I have been to every game despite the weather conditions. The past two days, Wednesday and Thursday I traveled up north to Hanover to watch the girls and boys semifinal games, which has been a nearly all day event. It's not just supporting my high school with soccer, it's tennis and bowling among other things which I invest all my effort into to try and get better.

My dream job
My dream job is to be a college baseball, tennis, or goalie coach for soccer. I've always liked baseball and it has been my favorite sport to watch growing up. I know a lot about the sport, the mechanics, and what to do in certain situations. I like the idea of managing an entire team and being in control of it. I want to make the decisions of when to take the pitcher out of the game and pinch hitters and runners.
I'd also want to be a college tennis coach because I love playing tennis and it is the sport I know the most about. Being a tennis coach doesn't really require as much involvement I think as other sports, which is upsetting, you just send your six best out there and hope they win. I've had a little experience in coaching some tennis players from my high school, running their practices, and showing them the basics.
I would also be a goalie coach for soccer if I got the chance. This may be more of a side job, but I would still like to do it at some point in my life. Training goalies is something I have done since my Junior year in high school. I have trained multiple goalies from my high school as well as a few other local high schools. I enjoy training goalies and making them better, which is exactly what a goalie coach on a collegiate level would do.
I would equally enjoy being a tennis or a baseball coach later in life. I feel as if I could start off at a goalie coach at some larger high school or club and then switch to baseball or tennis if I want to. I want to be a coach because I want to see people improve in the sport.

Favorite Quote
My favorite quote is "its not the hours you put in, its what you put in the hours." by Sam Ewing. I like this quote because it relates to pretty much everything you do in life. Specifically for me I think of it more as a sports message. It doesn't matter how many hours I put in at minimal effort, the only hours that matter are the ones where you try your hardest. I play tennis so whenever I go out to practice I set a certain amount of time out and put in my maximum amount of effort, so this quote really relates to how I think as well.

Characteristic to change
A characteristic I would like to improve over the course of my college stay is to become a little more outgoing. College I think is a perfect place to try and make this change, because I am constantly around people and I don't really know any of them. It's a good opportunity to meet new people and to do that I need to be more outgoing. I don't want to just be more outgoing around friends, but in the classroom as well. I would like to get myself to become more active in class discussions, which is something I did not do much during high school.

Social Goal
The social goal I have for college is that I hope to become friends with the players on the tennis team. I think it's important to have friendship with your teammates in order to have a successful season. I hope to accomplish this by going to every practice and staying positive during matches.
Academic goal
My academic goal is to not fail any classes and to have over a 3.0 throughout college. Because im playing tennis I need to make sure that I don't fail off of the team and also I need to make sure that I don't fail and have to retake the same classes. In addition, I want over a 3.0 so I don't have any worries throughout my college years.
